Joseph King Atiyia is a Congolese-American ordained pastor, qualified educator, mentor, anointed music director, and speaker whose life reflects the message of restoration and healing he shares. Growing up in a missionary family he adapted to cultural integration, culture shocks, speaking more than four languages, learning various genres of music instruments, working and welcoming people from around the world in their home almost every month.

His biological father is a pastor who planted churches in South Africa, his grandparents and great grandparents were among the pioneers of revival in the DR Congo. Preaching the Gospel in local villages, hospitals and taking care of sick people physically and spiritually. He completed his Bible associate degree in ministry (Christian Formation and leadership) then faithfully served under two senior pastors as an intern and associate pastor for ten years before moving into United States of America to serve full time as a missionary.

Joseph King Atiyia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music (school of Jazz) where he spent seven years specializing in Electro Acoustic engineering and education. As a professional Jazz man, the Lord gave him the ability to play many instruments, to arrange, compose and produce music. Joseph King Atiyia also got his masters in education in the USA and currently working on his PhD while serving at his local church, communities and nations.

Born in Kinshasa, DR Congo, and raised in South Africa. His journey through hardship, discrimination, xenophobic attacks, unfairness, racism, financial struggle, rejections, betrayals in ministry and spiritual brokenness was transformed by a profound encounter with God and enabled him to relate to people from different backgrounds, cultures, countries, dysfunctional families and fatherless males.

Today, he lives in the United States of America with his wife and children, serving in ministry and education. Leads the Dream Makers mentorship program for fatherless boys and men without father figures “Great Men” and uses his gifts to point lives back to God, reminding a generation that no failure is final in the hands of a faithful Creator.
